Do you provide walk-in urgent care?

Yes, we have walk-in urgent care services between 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. We offer lab and X-ray services on site. Be aware that due to COVID-19, extra precautions must be taken when visiting our office, including wearing masks, social distancing where possible, and limiting how many people are present in waiting rooms and examination rooms. If you suspect you have COVID-19 or you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, schedule a telehealth visit instead. Please see our Coronavirus Precautions guidelines for more details.

What's the difference between urgent care and an emergency room?

While the terms may seem to have similar meaning, "urgent" and "emergency" care deal with medical problems of different severities. Urgent care is for when you need something treated relatively quickly, but not so desperately that you would call 911 or go to a hospital. Conditions best evaluated by an emergency room: Heart attack and stroke symptoms, severe trauma, broken bones, dislocated joints, and severe cuts and burns. Conditions best evaluated by an urgent care clinic: Cold and flu symptoms, ankle sprains, broken fingers, small cuts and burns, vomiting, and rashes.

What's the difference between walk-in and urgent care?

Urgent care provides services above that of a walk-in clinic, but not at the level of an emergency room. Walk-in clinics provide same-day care for minor illnesses and health needs, such as sports physicals, mild flu-like symptoms, and other less severe conditions. Both walk-in and urgent care fill the gap between a routine doctor's visit and an ER.
