Dr. Krishna Pothineni
Electrophysiology
Krishna Pothineni, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist specializing in electrophysiology with Kansas City Heart Rhythm Institute at HCA Midwest Health in Kansas City, MO and Overland Park and Manhattan, KS. Dr. Pothineni is affiliated with the HCA Midwest Health network of hospitals located throughout the Kansas City, MO and Overland Park, KS metropolitan areas.
Dr. Pothineni is skilled in cardiac ablation and device procedures including catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contractions (PVC), and ventricular tachycardia, along with expertise in device implantation and lead extraction. Dr. Pothineni earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and went on to complete fellowship training in cardiovascular disease. He also completed additional fellowship training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been very active in academic medicine with over 90 peer-reviewed publications. He holds active memberships with the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the Heart Rhythm Society, among others.

Electrophysiology
Peter Park, MD is board certified in electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine with Kansas City Heart Rhythm Institute at HCA Midwest Health in Overland Park and Manhattan, KS. He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Park specializes in the treatment of abnormal heart rhythms and performs procedures ranging from pacemaker and defibrillator insertions to cardiac ablations. Dr. Park has a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California–Berkeley and a medical degree from the University of California–Irvine College of Medicine. Dr. Park completed his internal medicine residency at West Los Angeles VA Medical Center/UCLA San Fernando and his clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.
